Whew! I can’t believe April is coming to an end! I received my Sephora Play Box early this month, so I thought I would share the goodies!
This month, the Sephora Play Box really wanted to play up skincare, which I am totally grateful for. My skincare routine is pretty minimal, but I’ve slowly been introducing more aspects as I figure out what my skin really needs. All that aside, let’s jump into the box!
peter thomas roth water drench hyaluronic cloud cream: this is a brand I’ve heard of but never tried, so I’m stoked this is in my box. It’s a lightweight moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. I use a night cream with hyaluronic acid, so I’m excited to try an alternative.
kate somerville exfolikate intensive exfoliating treatment: this is the second exfoliator I’ve received this year and I’ve barely used the last one! I keep my exfoliating to once a week, so it’ll be a bit before I can try this one out. I’m hoping it’s not too intense – my skin is just bouncing back from overexfoliating, so I’m a bit weary of really intense products.
smashbox iconic photo finish foundation primer: this is the second time I’ve received a smashbox primer. Not pleased with a duplicate product, since I like trying out new things, but I do like this primer. It’s lightweight and feels fresh on our face.
make up for ever aqua xl eye pencil waterproof eyeliner: I’ve received so many black eyeliners from sub bags, it’s crazy. Will try this out, but definitely don’t use eyeliner enough to get through this product (even at a trial size).
sephora collection waterproof eye makeup remover: I actually have a small bottle of this (probably received it in one of those giftbags from Christmas) that I haven’t touched. I use oil to remove all my makeup, but I’ll try this with waterproof mascara to see how it performs.
marc jacobs daisy perfume: I have the rollerball of this, so I will probably pass this along. I do like the scent and I think it’s a good match for me.
Overall, I’m excited for the two skincare items and not very pleased with the similar items. I do like the Sephora Play Box, so I’ll remain subbed for the time being!

If you’re not a subscriber, you could head here to sign up! I’m unsure if there is still a waitlist, but try your luck! It’s $10 a month and you receive 5 samples and one bonus perfume sample.
’til next time, xo!
